She's never attempted to destroy the lamb, she doesn't even chew on its ears, which is what she normally does with stuffed animals. She's a very heavy chewer (AmStaff) and has destroyed countless toys, including the really hard plastic "non-destroyable" Nylabones. What she started doing then was entertaining herself by digging out that little pocket that it was in, something she still does to this day! I tuck it back in every morning, by next day it's out again □ She'd snuggle up to it those very first difficult nights in the crate, and now at eight months, it's still in there, and she uses it as a pillow/toy.Īfter a couple of nights though, she became very curious about the heart in there, and managed to compulsively turn it off and on herself with her mouth through the night, so we had to remove it fairly early. This was the first toy we ever bought our puppy, and it's been the best investment by far (a lamb from Amazon with beating heart). No illegal, unethical, or dangerous advice.
